Forum: bookmobile Subject: Walden

The Internet Bookmobile will be at Walden Pond, Concord, Mass., on July 8th starting at 6 a.m., to celebrate the 150th anniverary of H. D. Thoreau's "Walden," and to make and give away free copies.

So far we have been pretty successful in our launch at Broadway Books in Derry, N.H., and at the Hawthorne at 200 symposium in Concord. We are planning to attend the Hawthorne bicentennial events in Salem, Mass., July 1-4.

If you'd like to help carry the 95-lb. papercutter, as Bruce Travis kindly did in Concord, or to invite the Bookmobile to your school, library, or special event, add a post here.
